ABSTRACTS


Background: Informed concent is subjective terms for transaction which
therapeutic resting on two kinds of rights as basic human rights, including the
fundamental rights of the information and the right to self-determination. The
degree of satisfaction divided into satified and dissatisfied, and those things can
be from the comparison performance or result of being perceived with the hope.
Research aims to known the relation between completness granting informed
concent of with a satisfaction patients in ward surgical Dr kariadi hospital,
semarang.


Methods: This study design is cross sectional, using patients who have given
informed concent in ward surgical as many 81 respondents and also 81 informed
concent has been given in ward surgical Dr kariadi hospital semarang during
may until june 2012. Researchers observe the doctor who was giving informed
concent to patient and after that the patient as respondent fill a questionnaire.


Results: Based on the result of the study, obtained the result of 96,3% of
respondensts who are satisfied with the provision of informed concent of being
complete and also obtained by 3,7 % of respondents are dissatisfied against
informed concent of being incomplete.


Conclusion: More complete informed concent of given by doctor to patient then
the more satisfied against granting informed concent
